    Seattle General Contractors

Before I started at SoE, I was actually just calling around getting price quotes and asking for individual lists of supplies so I could try to figure out all that was needed. This is a link to a friendly general contractor company in Seattle. They are willing to give quotes and possibly advice if you are nice enough to them:

    199 ways to please God

This book aims to increase awareness about the current state of our environment and Islamic injunctions to play our part in protecting it as guardians of Creation ("We appointed you viceroys in the earth after them, that We might see how you behave.", Yunus/Jonah [10] 14). It includes some disconcerting facts about the current state of affairs, but hopes this will serve as inspiration for positive action (oftentimes saving money at the same time).

    Casa Verde's Nicaraguan site

This is a view from the beautiful Casa Verde site in Nicaragua.

Casa Verde’s Student Center in Nicaragua is being built using sustainable materials and indigenous practices to the furthest extent possible. This supports not only a healthy and engaged lifestyle at Casa Verde, but all infrastructure and buildings will be used as a living educational tools. The facility itself will be a model to demonstrate how to replicate these practices and give students hands on experience with green and alternative systems.

    Indigenous Perspectives Conference

One of Britain's leading adventurers, Benedict Allen, is to open the Indigenous Perspectives Conference on Monday 12th October. Allen is the author of 11 books, but is probably best known for his TV programmes of exploration and endurance.
