    How-to Guide for a New Learning Adventure for Third Agers

    This How-to Guide offers practical advice for any U3A branch and/or University that wants to work in partnership for mutual benefit - with U3A members gaining access to the wonderful range of teaching, research, learning and facilties at their local University, and University academics gaining access to a group of receptive and enquiring older adults who they can involve in research bids and fieldwork, use to gain experience of presenting their work to a wider audience, and who will widen the demographics of the student base for lectures and seminars.

    MA in Everything

    I've been thinking for a while now about going back into full-time education.

    I'm very clear that I don't want to be an academic or study at an academic institution though. I want to spend a year studying all the various things I'm interested in - some quite formally, some just for the fun of it. I want to design my own Masters course and spend a year learning everything I've always wanted to.

    So I've been thinking about what I'd like to study. So far I've got:

    * Pop, jazz, gospel and ragtime piano
    * Folk guitar
    * Singing, particularly soul/gospel vocal
    * Graphic design

If you're learning, you can use it to keep track of your progress in your subjects and all the things that help you learn like useful websites or how-to videos.

    If you're teaching, you can share useful resources and advice that you think will help people learn you subjects. You can tag each resource post with one or more subjects, and your posts will appear to other people looking for those subjects.
