Hello everyone, my name is Ai and I am a native Japanese speaker. I am from Osaka and it is the second biggest cityin Japan. Takoyaki, Okonomiyaki...They are very famous traditional Osaka food. Yes, Osaka is the food town too!

I will write about me a little bit...:)
I born in Osaka and studied and worked until 2011. I moved into London in 2011 and I live in there now too. When I was in Japan, I have an experience to work as an owner of a Japanese restaurant. Then I did do a manager and chef too. If you are interested in Japanese food recipes, I can teach you too:) After that, I worked in the Ritz-carlton Hotel and Japanese department store. Then I tought Japanese for foreigners people who lived in Japanfor 3 years. After I moved into London, I have taught Japanese more than 20 nationalities people over 2 years. Totally I have more than 5 years experience of teaching Japanese in Japan and the UK. When I was in Japan, I taught Japanese for foreigners people lived in Japan.(Students and employees)They wanted to improve their Japanese skills for their studies and works. In the UK, I have taught Japanese for people who is interested in Japanese cultures, planning to visit Japan, for their work and studies in Universities. As you know, if you would like to visit Japan, most of people speak only Japanese and it is very difficult to communicate with people in English or other languages. Also I understand Japanese language is very different from western languages and lots of people feels difficult to learn by themselves. However, no worries! I can help your speaking, writing, listening and reading.
I usually teach as a private tutor on face to face in central London and I set up 1 lesson per 2 hours with reasonable price (£20 per 2 hours) because I would like you to practice a lot. However, if it is difficult for you to travel to central London, I teach Japanese on Skype too:) You can mix Skype lesson and face to face lesson as well. I basically do not use textbooks because everyone has different situations but I can give you some practice mesods. Of course if you would like to use your textbooks, I can use it and I can add more extra information and vocabularies. Let's study together!
