We teach authentic Wing Chun (Leung Ting lineage) in the Wirral area. Alasdair Kirby has over 25 years experience in wing chun, along with a 1st dan black belt in Judo and a BJA Level 1 Judo Coaching Certificate. We have also introduced Escrima on an ad-hoc basis. Most Wing Chun is a hodgepodge of half baked theories with little true understanding. We are the only school in the Merseyside area that teaches Wing Chun using scientific theories based on biomechanics, physics, anatomy, geometry, etc. entwined with the traditional principles of Confucianism, Taoism and Chan Buddhism.

Come off Junction 4 of M53 and go to the Clatterbridge Health Park. Head towards the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, the Postgraduate Medical Centre is the last building on the right before the Cancer Centre. Plenty of parking. Buses go to the Health Park, train station is 1.8 miles away (Spital).

Your first session is free, and is a private one to one session with one of our senior students.
Monthly fee £35 pcm payable at the beginning of the month. No half measures, no weekly or per session rates, just one flat fee. SPECIAL DISCOUNTS FOR NHS STAFF!!!!! If you eventually train 3 times a week, this rate equates to approximately £2.30 per session, which we feel is a bargain for our students! NOTE: If you pay by cash, there is a £5 surcharge as it can be difficult to pay cash in to the Post Office on a regular basis, thus delaying cash-flow. Standing order details are available from the instructor.Your first session cost is £40 to cover T-shirt and safety mitts. We like our students to look the part and train safely.
