Andrew Cook

Specialising in Rock, Blues and Acoustic, I have a BA degree in commercial music and I am now a lecturer in guitar performance at Bath Spa University. I also teach at the Royal High School (Bath). I am also a faculty member of the International Guitar Foundation (IGF).
I have a real passion for music and tuition and I am a well known face on the bath music scene.
I am a multi instrumentalist, offering tuition in guitar, bass, keys, drums, music production and theory.

I have been teaching for 15 years and I have experience at all levels.
From primary school all the way through to undergraduate lecturing. I also teach many 'casual' guitarists.
I work from my studio in central Bath, meaning lessons can be recorded if needed.

I can cater to all students, whether a short course focusing on a particular grade, or a complete beginner of any age.
I teach a mixture of technique and thory to develop the complete musician, as well as learning a large quantity of repertoire.

Classical exams available through the trinity syllabus.
Acoustic exams available through the Trinity acoustic syllabus.
