Andy Graham
I teach in the comfort and security of the student's own home. My teaching style is based on many years of experience "on the road" as a gigging musician, during which time I have worked with bands covering almost every style of music. I like to make the lessons user-friendly, interactive (I play along as well- sometimes on a different instrument!) and, above all, FUN. In addition to conventional music-reading and theory, I also teach chord theory, tablature (for guitar or bass), and improvisation skills. I cover most contemporary styles, including pop, rock, jazz and blues. I have been teaching for about 17 years now. I teach a lot of tips and tricks which you pick up as a working musician on the road- the stuff you don't always get in the books! I am registered with the Registry of Guitar Tutors (RGT), the Musicians' Union, the London Borough of Bromley Leisure Services, as well as many other organisations and websites (also CRB checked).

THE SMALL PRINT
The length of the lesson depends on the location of the student and is, therefore, by arrangement (usually between half an hour and 45 mins). This is because, unlike most teachers, I travel to the student. There is a 24 hour notification policy for cancellations to avoid payment.
