Andy first started dancing in 1997 dancing across the UK salsa where in 2000 after several years of training started his own dance company Salsa Latina UK. Later that year he was asked by the UKs Biggest salsa dance promoter SALSA UK run by Paul young teaching various clubs and venues around the UK along with teaching at variious major salsa events including the UKs first Salsa Congress. Andy has also been twice to the worlds biggest salsa congress in LA learning from some of the best teachers and performers across the world. From 2001 to 2005 Andy has managed to be able teach most of the major Salsa promoters in the South of the UK and gained a reputation for providing quality of dancing and making classes fun!

In 2003 started his street dance training at teh prestigious Pineapple dance studios learning from some of the best teachers the UK have to offer in the urban dance industry where in 2005 opened up his own dance company based in Surrey Street Urban Dance Co (SUDC). Since 2005 SUDC has grown strength to strength with class in Horley, Farnham, Crawley, Sutton, Redhill, Croydon. Since 2005 Andy has worked alongside and taught for Strictly Come dancings and SYTUCD choreographer Richard Marcel and also has provided dance lectures and workshops for several dance organisations including the ISTD and also for the Kent Salsa Fest.

ABOUT SALSA JAZZ
Salsa Jazz or also know as Salsa Shines or Salsa solo is the non partner version of Salsa dancing where the dancer expresses the music by intricate jazz footwork. Salsa shines are also used especially in LA style and New York style of salsa when couples break away from each other to show to their partner what they can do on the dance floor. Salsa jazz is non partner based form of dancing so no need for a partner in our classes

Welcome to SUDC's brand new salsa jazz "shines" dance courses situated throughout in Redhill (near Horley, Crawley, Reigate)

Whether you have no dance experience or have danced salsa before before our new LA style Salsa jazz course is bringing Salsa iyou will definiate learn something new as we focus on the technique of salsa movement, how to turn and spin better, how to isolate your body and more to the hottest salsa rhythms.
