Anita Makwana

I am a London based professional performer, choreographer and dance instructor. My passion for dance and diverse dancing background has enabled me to create an individual style, which is both intriguing and unique.

Inspired by a variety of forms to create the versatile dancer I am today. Starting with gymnastics from a very young age, performing samba in my teenage years and learning Street/Hip Hop styles, I then went on to study the beautiful art of belly dance. Having mastered all levels and varieties in this style of dance, I use this art form combined with those previously learnt, to fuse radiant energy and captivating elegance into all of my performances.

Having performed at world class events to include, Concerts, Award Ceremonies, TV and Fashion Shows, Talent Contests, Theaters, Corporate, Private and Charity Events; she has also worked with major Commercial Companies, artists and international bands to both perform and manage events. I regulary teach in London and around the UK and teach privately, focusing on technique, stage presence, inner confidence, self motivation and overall fitness.
