I trained in ISTD Modern and tap and RAD ballet and studied A level dance and theatre studies and a BTEC in dance and drama before taking my degree in dance and related arts. I then went on to work as assistant entertainments manager and dance captain for TED UK on holiday parks around the UK for 4 years.
I teach dance under my dance school name of Debut Dance Academy which has been running now since February 2007, and hold classes at Leigh Park Working Men's Club every Tues and Wed 5-7pm for 5-18 year olds, and also run adult classes through Havant Arts Centre.
As well as my training I have extensive performance experience, appearing on Tap for Telethon with Lionel Blair, as a dancer in Lewis London Ballet Company's production of Alice In Wonderland, and dancer in TED UK performances of Waxtravaganza, Class of 88, Projectionist, Class of 89, The Inventor as well as many of my own choreographed pieces.
I am currently training through Chichester University in my Graduate Teacher Programme in Dance within the secondary education sector teaching GCSE and soon BTEC Dance.
I also help to run 2nd 2 nun hip hop performance squad which is currently funded by Hampshire County Council.
