BRIAN DRESCHER

I am the Owner Manager of English Root and hold the Higher Certificate in Genealogy awarded by the Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies. Studying for this family history qualification provided knowledge and practical experience of British and international genealogy research which has been developed further through working for customers in the UK, the United States, Australia and several other countries. Subjects studied included parish records, censuses, civil registration, medieval records, military and other occupational records.

I run family history courses for the WEA (Workers' Educational Association) and online courses for Pharos Teaching and Tutoring Ltd. My speciality is writing family histories. I have lectured for the Society of Genealogists on writing family histories. I provide private tution and coaching.
