Carl Lewis

I am a professional Pianist and Lecturer at City College in Coventry and I teach a range of styles on both piano and keyboard.

I am able to provide traditional music lessons but my speciality is Pop , Rock and Jazz genres. I have taken students from grade one through to eight as well as having students who have trained with me to become better musicians and some who have worked with me to become professional full time performers.

I am friendly and enthusiastic and am able to create a detailed monthly plan to ensure you get quickly and smoothly to a high standard.

In all of my lessons I encourage performance techniques, music reading (score and lead sheet) as well as theory and improvisation.

I preference taking on students of an intermediate standard but am more than willing to teach absolute beginners as well.
