I have been a freelance Egyptologist since 2000 speaking at national societies, national and international conferences and teaching Egyptology to adults for the WEA, Birkbeck, and various Adult Education Institutions from Essex to Berkshire. I teach on College-on-the-net.com (Egyptology, AS Archaeology and GCSE Religious Studies). I am one of the few people to offer correspondence hieroglyph classes and the only UK correspondence hieroglyph course.

I also offer practical workshops in various aspects of Egyptology including art, body adornment, Egyptian pastimes, and banquetting. New workshops are being introduced all the time.

Professionally I have a BA (Hons) and MA from UCL in Egyptian Archaeology, and have written numerous articles and books including "Ancient Egyptians for Dummies" "Behind the Mask; the life of Tutankhamun" and "The myth of ancient Egypt".

I am looking for private students, small groups or official classes, in Egyptology or Archaeology as well as correspondence or online students. I also offer guided tours of various museums, and small groups to Egypt.

I am also qualified to teach English as a foreign language and am looking for students for one to one conversational English classes.
