Chloe Chourrout

Hi, my name is Chloe. I am a PhD student in literature, and also an experienced tutor, specialised in French and French conversation. I was born in France, but have lived and studied in London for over 10 years, which has given me a broad knowledge of both English and French languages.

I offer one on one private tuition, all levels and ages are welcome. I adapt to every student's needs, whether they want to improve their French before going on holidays, or practice their conversational skills, or prepare for an exam...

I am based in Hackney, and usually teach in cafes, but am happy to travel across London.

I am passionate about teaching, and particularly enjoy watching my students' progress. My approach is based on grammar, but I won't bore you with technical terms. I believe learning a language is about getting those building blocks which will enable you to contruct sentences, and give you the confidence to talk about any topic!
