Chris Malkinson

I started learning classical piano at 7 years old, and went on to study jazz and popular music (and classical) at Leeds College Of Music, graduating in 1984.Since then, I have worked as professional pianist / keyboard player / arranger / accompanist and writer in a wide variety of musical situations. These have included cruise ships, theatre, pop and jazz band work, and solo piano residencies at Savoy and Connaught hotels in London.

I offer patient, friendly teaching with the emphasis on having fun learning. but also offer preparation for ABRSM Grade exams (classical or jazz).

I offer home visits, and teach mainly in the St. Albans and Harpenden area.
