I am a highly qualified Mother Tongue French teacher for adult beginners and advanced learners almost 20 years experience. I teach everyday and business French in London main firms and I also teach children and adults preparing their GSCE, A-levels, DELF and DALF exams.
My method:
I adapt my teaching methods to my students’ needs, their field of work, their level and their way of learning. I am always researching new didactic methods and I am particularly interested in vocabulary retention. Students can learn in many different ways, their memory triggered by seeing, hearing, visualising, reflecting and acting; reasoning logically and intuitively. However, progress in learning languages can only be achieved if there is enjoyment in the process, therefore I take care of making the lessons fun but without loosing sight of their achievement in their studies and preparation of exams.

I have taught all levels from complete beginners to very advanced students, either in small groups or one to one. My students include senior civil servants across a number of Whitehall departments.
As well as general French (for business and pleasure), I am familiar with teaching French for people with specific professional needs, such as “legal French” for lawyers, “financial French” for accountants and “political French” for senior civil servants attending ministerial level meetings in Brussels and elsewhere.

I run an after school club in a primary school . I organised a 2 day-trip to France for a group of 30 London residents, whose age ranged from 5 to 67. In addition, I am also a free-lance translator, translating documents for leading charities or business consultants working on UN projects.
