Teaching was my second career. I spent 26 years in BT, including a while as product manager of ISDN - when ISDN was new. My teaching was based in an FE college and a selective school - both in Orpington. I specialised in teaching Computing subjects, particularly A-level Computer Science.

Now retired, I would like to help students learn some of the advanced skills that make IT and computers a fascinating subject for me.

My hobby involves military history and gaming. I belong to an organisation of friends that create games (of the non-computer variety) and run multi-player games - mainly on historical subjects (www.Megagame-Makers.org.uk). I would be fascinated to talk to anybody and work with them in this area too.

Contact me if you would like coaching or help in computing subjects in general (we can then discuss if I can help) and in particular if you are interested in learning about desktop programming and/or database work.
