I very much enjoy teaching, especially bringing about confidence and success in my students to obtain their exam wishes. Having taught using many different styles, my style is based on efficient use of materials, patience, motivation, being focused and hard work. Having worked in both the world of education and business, I am able to couple the best from both worlds. I am a highly qualified Teacher/Trainer/Consultant with a strong business focus due to working in Industry. I am popular with children, teenagers and adults. I aim to make my lessons enjoyable, relevant and interesting. I also have a background in writing and delivering training systems, both in the educational and commercial sectors. I get a great 'buzz' from teaching and enjoy helping my students to achieve their full potential.

I taught for 15 years in 4 large comprehensives, where my subjects were Maths, Business Studies, Science, ICT, Geography and English. My main subjects were Maths and ICT which allowed me to work and gain experience across the curriculum. I reached just below Deputy Head status, was a Teacher Trainer and worked for City & Guilds as an Examiner. I had good classroom control and brought an industrial perspective to my pupil's lessons, who enjoyed and respected my traditional outlook and the resulting success in their exams. I was also a Lecturer in a College of F.E. teaching HNC Business Studies and IT. Recently I have added to my skill set, by working in Thailand teaching English as Foreign Language (TEFL and TESOL) to Thai students as well as Business English to Executives in Bangkok.
