David Hall is a recent Masters graduate of New England Conservatory who has begun teaching at the Pioneer School of Music in Tustin, CA. An undergraduate of UCLA where he studied with international soloist Jens Lindemann, David is a native Californian who has spent the last ten years freelancing in and around the Los Angeles and Orange County areas. His most recent accomplishments include scholarships at the Aspen School of Music, New England Conservatory Conducting Symposium, and UCLA Gluck Fellowship Outreach. While in Boston, David studied with Boston Symphony Orchestra members Thomas Rolfs, Ben Wright, and Steve Emery and collaborated with such ensembles as the Morgenmusik Brass and the New England Brass Band. In California, he has also worked with such ensembles as the Debut Orchestra, Lyric Opera of Los Angeles, and the Colburn School of Music Orchestra. An avid educator and performer, David recently joined the Pioneer School of Music faculty and is available for private instruction and/or performance.
