Debbie Barnett

Debbie Barnett began practicing yoga over 30 years ago in 1979. She was a high school gymnast at the time; balance beam was her favorite event. Yoga immediately enhanced her effectiveness as a competitor, as it increased her balance, strength, focus, and flexibility.

Debbie was a self-taught yogini for the first two decades of her practice. In 2001, she became certified and began teaching. She has since studied with some of the world's most notable yoga teachers, including Saul David Rae, Shiva Rae, and Sara Powers.

Also in 2001, Debbie founded Conscious Flow, Inc., a personal and professional training and development company. In her workshops and keynotes, Debbie helps companies like Kaiser Permanente have a healthier workforce by incorporating yoga tips and techniques into their workday.

In 2003 she conducted over 200 sales training seminars in seven months for Brian Tracy Programs. Brain Tracy is a world-renowned speaker in the area of sales and leadership. Debbie also conducts training in public speaking and presentation skills. Conscious Flow's mission is "healing the world through yoga, one breath at a time."

She's the author and illustrator of "The Deeper the Roots, the Juicier the Fruits! 8 Spiritual Practices for a Juicy Life."

Debbie's seva practice includes teaching yoga to incarcerated youth. In 2010 she received an "Outstanding Probation Volunteer" award from the Orange County Probation Department. Her students are told to "spread the yoga love" upon their release and take yoga back to their communities.

Debbie has also been studying the ancient art and science of Astrology since she was young. Always fascinated with the depth of wisdom within this system, Debbie delights in helping people uncover the mystery that lies within their horoscope. Recently she began studying the Human Design system.
