Are you studying sociology or psychology and in search of some help? Perhaps you're thinking about taking one of the subjects at school or university and want to see what it's like. Maybe you want to refine your essay-writing skills. Or are you just curious about how your mind or your society works?

I graduated from Dublin City University in 1997 with a joint sociology/psychology qualification. I've been teaching sociology and psychology since 2003, mostly on a one-to-one basis in independent schools. I'm now engaged in postgraduate study at Goldsmiths (MA Social Research; my grade average so far is a distinction) and have peer-reviewed publications to my credit.

If it's help with essay-writing you need, I've also worked as an editor and academic proofreader for many years and can offer advice about style, structure and how best to get your point across. (Please note, however: I can only offer general advice and basic proofreading for coursework or university assignments - no rewriting or copy editing.)

No job too big or small - I'm happy to teach one-off or a few lessons, work with you regularly to supplement the teaching you're getting at school or college, or fully prepare you for A-levels over a year or more.

I am fully CRB checked.
