Began learning piano aged 5, studied with concert pianists Richard Greatorex and Robert Gregory at the Manchester School of Music. Semi-pro accompanist for amateur operatic societies (Oldham, Ashton, Oldham Trinity) and choreographer Pat Dyson and others, playing for shows and cabarets. Accompanist for productions at Manchester's College of Adult Education Basement Theatre.
