Dr Roger Collins

I work full-time as a Private Tutor in Mathematics for students studying GCSE and ‘A’-Level courses. I specialise in working with students individually to help them fully understand their subject and to boost their confidence, which usually leads to improved performance in their exams. I am familiar with the OCR and Edexcel syllabuses and have detailed knowledge of the ‘A’ level core modules, as well as many of the optional modules.

I have a PhD and MSc in Computer Science and a BSc in Electronics. I have taught and mentored students over a wide range of technical and scientific disciplines, in both academic and commercial environments.

Over the past four years I have helped over a hundred students achieve their potential in their GCSE and ‘A’ level studies. These students ranged in ability from those aiming to get a ‘C’ pass at GCSE to those needing to get an ‘A’ grade at A-level in order to gain entry to their chosen university
