A dynamic and experienced professional London-based guitar player and teacher with extensive live and recording experience. Educated at Berklee College of Music, Oxford University and the Guitar Institute.

Over the past 15 years, I have taught a wide a range of abilities and styles to hundreds of students. Students have included Billie Piper's songwriter and the guitarists in the Maccabees. I currently teach at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, London, and at a number of local schools.

I am very happy to teach students of all levels, from beginners through to advanced musicians. I'm particularly interested in teaching jazz guitar and theory, together with improvisation concepts.

As a player, I lead 1224 Project, an electrifying, groove-fuelled contemporary jazz trio and have worked extensively with US jazz vocalist Ellen O’Brien both in Boston and during a number of UK tours. I have experience playing in a wide variety of jazz groups and soul/funk/pop bands. My music has been played on UK and Swedish radio and at the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York.
