I have worked within the Performing Arts Industry for over 30 years. Firstly as a Professional session Singer and then later as a Professional actress. I have a great deal of experience in most genres and styles of singing and acting, having worked in theatre, television and international touring.

I have extensive knowledge of vocal and drama techniques and a clear way of explaining breathing and support, meaning that you can increase the range of your voice and improve your confidence within a few lessons,

You will learn all the necessary techniques to come across as a confident public performer. Reflex breathing, correct vocal support, physicalization skills, holding the attention of your audience and confidence building my extensive knowledge and experience.

I have a Ba Hons Degree in Performing Arts and also a PGCE and have taught children from the age of 6 upwards to lecturing at Universities to teaching a lovely old gentleman of 72 who wanted to sing to his wife on their 50th Wedding Anniversary! There is absolutely NO AGE limit on wanting to learn how to sing or perform a Shakespearian Monologue.

Lessons are on a one-to-one basis and are made up of technical work, songs or scripts and performance techniques. Whether you are wanting to sing or act (or both!) for just your own pleasure, for school or college/university exams or with a view to going into the Performing Arts Industry, these lessons will prove an invaluable tool.

No experience necessary.
No age limit.
If there is a particular song or monologue that you wish to do, please ask as I have many backing tracks and written pieces that you could work with or I am more than happy to work with what you bring along to the lesson.
You only need to be keen and eager to learn and do some practice at home!

Elli teaches from her home but can travel.
