My background is in art. I have a BA (Hons) in Public Art and Design from Chelsea School of Art and Design and also run own company making stained glass windows. Past workshops have included general arts and crafts classes, mosaic and glass art projects.
I also hold a CELTA qualification and teach general English, Business English and ESOL. I spent eighteen months teaching in Japan, where I taught a wide range of age groups. I also have extensive business English training experience; my students have been mainly European, particularly from Germany, Denmark and Italy.
Learner-wise, I'm keen to improve my Italian and Japanese. My English for your Italian, my Italian for your Japanese? Also prepared to offer art in exchange for those two languages.
I'm available mainly evenings and weekends, and occasional weekdays.
Taught English language at a major conversation school. Gained insight into Japanese culture, as well as an understanding of Japanese learner difficulties when learning English.
