Hannah Cunnington
Hannah is a professional vocal and performance coach. She has a Masters degree (with distinction) in Performance, Health and Personal Development and a BMus (Hons) degree in Popular Music Performance. Hannah trained at the London College of Music and was taught by many music industry professionals including Kim Chandler (Director at the British Voice Association) and Andrew Evans (author of ‘The Secrets of Performing Confidence.’)
Hannah has had years of experience as a Contemporary Pop and Musical Theatre singer performing at prestigious venues and events such as London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire and as a backing vocalist for the World cup charity single ‘If I can Dream’ performed on top of the 02 Arena! Whilst studying for her Masters Hannah had research on ‘The Emotional Responses of Performing Musicians’ published by ISSTIP (International Society for the Study of Tension in Performance) and conducted original research on the Psychology of Performance including papers on Perfectionism, Confidence, Performance Anxiety, Television Talent Shows and Body Image Dissatisfaction in the Female Singer.
Hannah is experienced teaching singing to all ages from beginners to advanced.
Hannah is trained and experienced in teaching a variety of styles from musical theatre (Glee, hairspray, we will rock you, wicked) to disney (enchanted, beauty and the beast, the little mermaid)
to popular contemporary styles (adele, rihanna, lady gaga, bruno mars.)
