Last year I set up Home Coaching Service. Home Coaching Helps You:

Save Money
Get More Time
Learn New Skills
Be Less Stressed

How It Works…Each person has their own experience of Home Coaching but a typical pattern is:You will have a free telephone consultation (generally lasting 30mins).Helen will then provide a suggested plan for you to choose which may include:

A workshop with a small group where a particular Home Coaching aspect is discussed and practical information given.
One to one practical help in translating advice into workable personally tailored solutions.
Follow up telephone/face2face meetings to discuss how you are, and any problem solving that is needed.
Your personal plan will be priced and this will be fixed so you will know upfront what you can expect to pay..

Qualified Home Economist and teacher. In 2011 I gained Qualified Teaching and Learning Status with the Institute for Learning. I am also a registered trainer for the Charted Institute for Environmental Health, a member of Forward ladies, the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs, and the Sheffield Coaching Exchange.

I was 7 years old and got my sewing machine when I was 15 and working towards my CSE and O level in textiles. This sewing machine is still the one I most use, after 30 years.

My interest in different textile art has developed over the years as I have attended courses, liaised with other textile artists and taught others. I started with tie-dye and batik, specialised in samplers and patchwork and now use a wide range of different materials and techniques to create colour and texture.

Particular interest in up-cycling. In 2012 I exhibited an outdoor hanging using the plastic from 4 packs of cans and bubble wrap.

I receive commissions from companies as well as individuals, to create textile work or run workshops or provide 1:1 tutorials.
