Learning to play folk fiddle is very rewarding. Depending on what the individual hopes to achieve my lessons are based on developing technique and musical understanding while learning to play tunes that could be played at a session, at home alone or for any kind of performance.

I have been playing violin for 20 years, and piano for over 25 years in which I reached grade 8 and hence also have grade 5 theory. This has given me a broad and thorough musical knowledge on which to build my other skills. I play with a busy band at both private functions and large public venues, and I am an experienced and qualified teacher.
