Daoist Arts of Lishi (Tai Chi, Yoga and Kung Fu)
A unique system of Daoist health techniques and self-defence designed to protect, invigorate, de-stress and rejuvenate mind and body.
We practise a system known as Lishi (pronounced Lee-sher). It is a Chinese system of exercise passed down for hundreds of years and encompasses a wide variety of exercises, based on the Daoist principles from which arts like tai chi, kung fu and yoga are derived. These exercises are all designed to help improve health, fitness, flexibility, balance and coordination. The classes are open to anyone, but a good basic level of fitness helps. Current students enjoy the classes which are challenging but always friendly and fun.
