Native and qualified Spanish speaker (Master’s Degree in Secondary Education and Language Teaching, with a major in Teaching of Social Sciences, Geography and History) with experience teaching Spanish to children and adults, offers to help you with this thrilling language.
I was born in Córdoba, Spain. I specialized in History of Art at the University of Granada, after that, I lived in Rome for three years where I worked as a tour guide at the same time that I collaborated with an association that supports foreign university students (ESN). Then, convinced by my passion for teaching, I get back to Córdoba to do my Master in Education. I currently live in Leamington Spa (Warwickshire) since September 2018, and I'm attending a course of Teacher Subject Specialism Training (TSST) to teach Spanish at primary and secondary schools.
I am very enthusiastic and passionate about everything I do, so I will try to provide activities or materials that help to learn, like listening to songs and audios, watching videos and movies, play games... I understand that each student requires their time to learn, so one of my purposes is to help them feel more confident.
My teaching approach is based mainly on communication & grammar, adaptable to the individual's needs. Also, we can prepare your Spanish exams together (GCSE; DELE). I try to engage my students and make them enjoy learning, always encourage them to progress and improve their language skills at any level.
Normally, I teach at my place (one to one: 15 pounds per hour) however I am willing to go to your or any other place like the public library or even a cafe or a pub. I also teach via Skype. The first class is free as it will help me to test your level of Spanish and know what you need.
I am looking forward to sharing my language knowledge with you and help you become a Spanish speaker’s expert!
Feel free to contact me for more details and group prices.
¡Hasta pronto!
