I teach guitar, ukulele and banjo lessons in Stroud, Gloucestershire, and specialise in the following styles:

- folk/acoustic/singer-songwriter
- country/bluegrass
- pop/rock/indie
-Western swing
- blues/R&B/simple jazz

I’m currently taking on improver, intermediate & advance players aged 12 to adult, who want to grow and develop musically.

In lessons, I bring my experience of playing with many bands over the years. I have over 12 years experience teaching all kinds of students in a wide variety of styles.

As we’re all different and have unique challenges and interests, I tailor lessons to the individual needs of each student. I also like to emphasise learning through playing music that feels good to you (songs, instrumentals, improvisation, etc.), and aim to help you connect with your fullest potential as a musician in an enjoyable and engaging way.

I’m fully DBS (formerly CRB) checked and have public liability insurance.
