I have just move to London 4 weeks ago. My method is as simple as effective: You read a book or spanish newspaper as a homework and we analyze and discuss it at class. (Focussing on conversional skills rather than grammar).

I have practiced this method in Spain, where I gave some lessons for foreigners in Majorca (Spain) (2009-2011),and I can guarantee you a demonstrable improvement within 6-8 weeks.
