Hello! My name is James Fuge and I am a professional drum teacher based here in Bristol. I run a local drum school called Drum Lessons Bristol. Though this I provide drum tuition to students of all ages and abilities, welcoming beginner students to attend individually tailored drum lessons with me.

I have been teaching drums for several years now having gained a BA (Hons) in Professional Musicianship. This experience has helped me to develop into one of the leading drum teachers based in Bristol. I teach my drum lessons from a dedicated drum studio located in central Bristol. It is a fantastic studio to learn to play the drums in, with all the equipment needed for our lessons.

It also has great public transport access for students based across the city. The studio itself is located at Music A.P.E. Studios, Unit 16c, Merton Road in Bristol.

Alongside my drum tuition, I am also an active professional drummer in my own right, having performed with many bands across the South-West. I have performed in many function bands, providing music entertainment at weddings and corporate events. Through my work as a professional drummer, I have played the drums across a huge array of different genres - something that I am able to bring to my drum lessons, offering tuition to my students that focuses on the bands and songs that they are really interested in learning.

This student-focused approach to learning to play the drums, not only means that my students rapidly improve but also the really stick with lessons. I would be delighted to help you to learn to play the drums, for more information please don't hesitate to get in touch.
