I teach handweaving at Square Chapel in Halifax, West Yorkshire one day a week. I have been successfully teaching there for over a year. I am very happy teaching and love to pass on and share skills and ideas. I helped set up the British Tapestry Group in the UK, taking on the role of the Secretary. I also helped to set up the subsequent two successful weaving exhibitions in Hebden Bridge and Halifax.
I am happy to help someone start weaving, or if there are enough people to run a handweaving class. I am keen to improve my spinning technique and skills and would welcome help with this.

THE SMALL PRINT
I charge £8.00 an hour for private tuition. If there are sufficient people for a class - six or more people then I would negotiate an attendance fee depending on where the class is taking place and how much rent for the space is involved. I do not refund for non attendance - I would rearrange a date to attend. If I am travelling to teach I would charge for the cost of travel.
