The Nimble Thimble opened in August 2009, after a very nervous Jane and Val finally persuaded their even more nervous husbands to let them fulfil a long-held ambition to open a Patchwork and Quilting shop in Buckingham. We have been excited and encouraged by the reaction of sewers and knitters near and far, and every month brings more challenges, more stock, and most importantly, more new friends! We specialise in workshops for all levels of experience and ability, and are happy to travel to your group to teach you 'on your own patch' as long as you have suitable facilities
