Milonguero Style Tango
Milonguero Style Tango
Dancing in close embrace without opening. This is a form of social Argentine Tango uniquely suited to small or popular i.e.. crowded dance floors. the style is characteristic in dancing the rhythm with complex use of cross system as well as unique figures. It is perhaps the loveliest way to dance Tango.
You will learn close embrace social dancing in our group classes, but to work specifically on Milonguero style Tango we suggest one to one tuition with either Sari or Jeff.
Milonguero is not easy it is a lovely way to dance tango but requires a refined disciplined esthetic and good technique coupled with understanding of the music or at least the Rhythmical structure, this takes time and practice to achieve, but this way of dancing may
be the essence of Argentinean tango?
