I'm a voice teacher, originally from California who recently relocated to the United Kingdom. I have studied the popular new methods for voice as well as the time honored ones. My focus as a voice teacher is to help you, the client, achieve the goals that you state in our initial free phone consultation.

Whether you are a beginner or seasoned pro, my aim in your lesson is to assess your strengths and weaknesses and work to balance them out. Breath control, range, registration, power, intelligibility, and resonance are some of the many things that get assessed from the very beginning.

Each lesson will be custom tailored to use your strengths to work on your weaknesses. Generally, each lesson will be one third technique, two thirds music of your choosing.

I truly enjoy working with clients on popular music styles that inspire them. Folk, pop, theatre; I've even worked with clients who were metal singers and helped them to stay healthier and address the performance issues they reported to me.

In a nutshell, I've studied voice for over twenty years so you don't have to. We'll assess what's going on for you, and I'll give you the tools to address the issues as well as make you aware of how you can self assess.

Lastly, I'll record the whole thing and send it to you after your lesson, so you can work with the exercises and concepts as much as you need.
