Have you just picked up a guitar? Have you played for a long time but want to take your playing to the next level? Whatever your level and style, taking lessons from a professional, highly qualified teacher will help you improve rapidly and get the most out of your guitar.

I teach all styles of guitar and live conveniently in the west end of Glasgow, just off Byres Road, only 5 minutes walk from Hillhead underground station

I am an experienced guitar teacher. I studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Music from 1996 to 2001 and graduated with a music teaching degree.

I believe that each student is individual with their own unique strengths, weaknesses and wishes. That is why I do not use any single 'method' or book but tailor-make the lessons for each student to ensure maximum progress and enjoyment.

I am a member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors and can offer you the possibility of taking certificate examinations with the London College of Music Examinations.

If you are in doubt, contact me and arrange a FREE trial lesson. Whether you decide to continue with your lessons or not you won't have to pay anything for this first lesson.

Prices from £11 pr. lesson.

"I taught myself to play classical guitar many years ago but then gave up because I didn't seem to progress. I approached Jens to take me on as a student when I heard him playing Concierto de Aranjuez with the Birmingham Concert Orchestra - he produced such a beautiful tone. Jens sorted out a number of stylistic errors that I had developed in my playing (especially with the right hand) and also encouraged me to play with expression I didn't think I could achieve. Thanks Jens."
Alan Wing, former student.
