Music has always been a large part of my life and I wish to share this enthusiasm with others.

I am currently studying a Masters in Orchestral Studies on the bassoon at the RNCM. I studied my undergraduate in Music at Bath Spa University. While living in Bath I taught peripatetically for several years.

I offer friendly fun lessons to all ages and abilities.

I am based in Manchester, am often between here and home in the Peak District. So I'm willing to travel within reason!:-)

Please do get in touch for some more information! - whether you're looking at studying for ABRSM grades or just some advice on playing.

Peripatetic teacher

While studying in Bath I taught several pupils. Some were keen students studying GCSE music, several were young beginner pianists and I also taught pupils who had reached retirement and wanted to develop their musical techniques.

Educational history

MMus Orchestral Studies

September, 2010 - July, 2011
Royal Northern College of Music
This course has already informed me on wider aspects of the bassoon, including reed making and playing the baroque bassoon.

BA Hons. Music

September, 2007 - July, 2010
Bath Spa University
Studying BA Music at Bath Spa University has broadened and expanded my musicology knowledge excessively. Along side my academic studies I have always been an active member of an extensive span of ensembles, within which I have encountered a vast range of music, from Renaissance to present day.
