I have worked as a professional session musician for many years and have worked in every area of the music industry.

I'm a trained music teacher with Enhanced DBS clearance, having worked in Further and Higher Education for many years. My classroom teaching experience has also extended to secondary schools and primary schools.

I teach all styles of music and all levels of ability and age ranges, regardless of whether you want to study for graded examinations, or just play for fun.

Whether you're a complete beginner, returning to an instrument in later life, wanting to pursue music as a career, or reach the next step in your music grades, I can help you along the way.

Lessons are informal and fun, supported with handouts and music notation (or TAB) and you'll even get the chance to record you're playing and hear it back against a custom made backing track, so that you can really gauge your own progress.
