SpellBinding started as a little concept, to provide people with fabulous bread ... but soon it became apparent that this was a small concept within a HUGE idea.
You see SpellBinding is not just who we are, it's what we are, spellbound. Spellbound by bread and all its baked goodness, the smell, taste and feel of it. The magic of yeast, flour and water intermingling to create one of the sustaining foundations of life - Bread.

If we sound a bit obsessed ... well we are ...
Hmmm, we thought, really we should share the love ... our fascination with the good bakey stuff was, we decided, a thing we should share. So SpellBinding Artisan Baking was born.

Baking Bread is, with a few skills and some expert tuition, a wonderful, cathartic and beneficial thing to do.

Everything from mixing the flour and water to a sticky mass, and watching before your eyes as it turns to a silken dough; The rhythmic thud of dough on counter, the smell of warm yeast and the pride at your golden burgeoning loaf, all fabulous for the spirit.
We run Day Workshops, both community and Corporate. Our Courses run for 6 weeks,one evening a week.

Class sizes are always small, maximum 6 attendees.
All your ingredients are included in the course.

Being a French trained Boulanger has given me so much pleasure and has allowed me to see the pleasure in others which making really great bread can bring.
