Pregnancy Yoga
These classes work gently to release aches and pains associated with pregnancy. You will learn to develop breath awareness and practices to carry you through the birth. The classes also work as a preparation for active labour- giving you postures and movements you can use to help ease your baby's journey.
"The pregnancy yoga classes were certainly the best thing that I did for myself whilst pregnant. Not only did the sciatic-type pain that had been dogging me for months disappear, but the warm nurturing at the classes really touched me each week. It was a protected space to slow down and connect with my experience, myself and my baby...
The classes really helped me to prepare for birth, which i was pretty frightened about really.
You invited us to sit with the confidence that our bodies could give birth, and by week 37 of my pregnancy I somehow believed it-just in time! You also gave us various practices, some of which suited me and were really helpful during labour. For me, these were relaxing using breathing and just being more mindful of my body tending to tense against the pain. ..
So, thanks Laura. I'm so glad I stumbled upon your classes, which you, in particular, made so right for me in a weird and wonderful time."
