My studio is located at the Butcher Works Complex on Arundel Street in the centre of Sheffield. From here I run daytime and evening workshops for adults, children and adults with learning disabilities in feltmaking and a variety of other craft skills.

In my own practice I specialise in feltmaking, using the nuno felting technique on silk to create beautiful accessories, including bridal pieces.

Group Classes

Creative Crafts for Adults with Learning Disabilities

Creative craft workshops specialising in a varierty of art, craft and design based activities for people with learning disabilities, physical and sensory impairments.

Each session will introduce a new technique such as feltmaking, 3D embroidery, printing, jewellery making, creative painting styles or paper crafts.

Items designed and made during workshops will be sold at craft fairs within the local community, with profits reinvested to benefit the participants.

Details & Prices:
• The workshops are available 4 days per week, 9.30am - 4.00pm.

• Small groups, with no more than 4 participants in the studio per day.

• There is an organic cafe on site (at the Butcher Works) where food and drink can be purchased.

• Cost is from £50 per person per day including all materials, use of equipment and refreshments.

• Enhanced CRB check and public and employer liability insurance.

Seamless Felting (One day course)

Learn seamless felting techniques to create unique seamless vessels, handbags and vases.

- Classes run 10.30am - 4pm

- Small classes - Maximum of 4 per session.

- Lovely organic cafe on site, plus many other eating places near by.

- 2 minutes walk from Sheffield railway station

- Pay and display car parks are available at the front and back of the building, plus road parking.

Felting Evenings

Learn lots of felting techniques including nuno felting and work on your own projects over four evenings. Make a scarf, cushion cover, bag, hair accessories or flat pieces to use in your own projects.

- Free road parking after 6.30pm.

Introduction to Nuno Felting (One day course)

Experiment with the wonderful technique of nuno felting on fabric to create beautiful fabrics, a scarf or cushion cover with added felted embellishments.

- Classes run 10.30am - 4pm

- Small classes - Maximum of 4 per session.

- Lovely organic cafe on site, plus many other eating places near by.

- 2 minutes walk from Sheffield railway station

- Pay and display car parks are available at the front and back of the building, plus road parking.
