Our Art Classes in Central London are designed for anyone who wants to develop and improve their drawing and painting skills, and also for students who want to prepare their art portfolio for Degree applications. The drawing and painting classes provide an introduction to the use of drawing and painting media and materials, the selection and development of subject matter, and to the use of line, tone, colour, proportion, scale and composition. Our Art Classes are designed to develop confidence in the handling of media and materials, such as; oils, acrylics, watercolours, pastels, charcoal and graphite and in the development of themes such as; calligraphy, portraiture, still life, old master techniques, Chinese painting, life drawing and cast drawing. On completion of the course, students will have acquired a broad skills base and a thorough understanding of a range of techniques and of the use of drawing and paint based media. Students will also have learned how to instigate and develop creative ideas. These courses cover a variety of skill-levels are suitable for both complete beginners and experienced artists.
Guided by Yinjie, the Art Classes aim to provide students with an easy to follow structure to understand principles. Yinjie will work individually with each student using different methods to help everyone find their own value and opinion on art, which enables students to come up with a great full finished work that exceeds expectations.
The lessons will mainly be held inside in our studio at Algate, London, but will occasionally be outside, pending weather conditions. Classes may also take place in Art Galleries. We will hold annual exhibitions of our students’ work in our Central London studio.
