Since graduating with a BA (Music) from the University of Salford in 2008, I’ve been teaching woodwind instruments to children* and adults in the Greater Manchester area both privately, and for a local music service.

I teach beginners, right up through to grade 8. I aim to make lessons as enjoyable as possible. I specialise in teaching jazz improvisation but will tailor my lessons to your individual musical interests; some of my pupils choose to sit traditional classical exams, some choose to sit jazz exams and some just learn for fun without sitting exams!

I am also an experienced performer, currently performing with 'The Uplifters' - a Manchester-based Ska band (http://www.uplifters.co.uk/). I have also performed in soul, jazz, funk and pop groups.
Prices: £12 for 30 minutes and £20 for an hour. This may vary if you require me to travel to you.
