Michael King

I am an experienced actor, trained at The Central School of Speech and Drama, where I did a Masters in Screen Acting. I have taught drama to children, teenagers and young adults on and off throughout my working life, and have found that the more I do, the more I enjoy it. Originally from Australia, I now live in London with my UK born wife. As a young actor, I started teaching part time at a theatre school that I was involved with in Melbourne, Australia. This lead on to teaching many different types of classes, which in turn lead me to teaching here in London. I teach on a weekly basis for a performing arts school on the weekends. Through my teaching experiences I have also directed several stage productions with children to young adults.

I grew up in a musical household, where I was given a grounding in music of many forms. The first instrument that I learnt to play was piano, followed by saxophone, and have since taught myself to play guitar. My Father and brothers are all professional musicians, where even though I still play, I followed in the footsteps of my Uncle who is an established actor in Australia. As I grew up, performing in one form or another was a way of life.

Briefly, My working life as an actor includes Film, T.V., Radio, Voice Over, Stage, I have experience in various production roles, and have hosted a wide variety of events.
