Mirto Ferrandino
Mirto Ferrandino is a Jazz-Funk soprano sax player who also plays alto, tenor and Akai EWI 4000s. He has a strong studio recording and live performance experience which includes appearances at the Canary Wharf Jazz Festival and at more intimate venues such as The Chelsea Arts Club.
He graduated at The Roma Tre University in Music, Arts and Performance and later moved to London to pursue his musical career.
Through the years Mirto developed his own personal style mixing Jazz with groovy instrumental beats. He also worked as a sideman with various Hip-Hop Djs around Europe and many different Jazz, Funk and Reggae bands with legendary artists like Owen Gray.
Mirto is also available as a Saxophone teacher. His home studio is based in South West London and welcomes everybody, from beginners to advanced players. His teaching approach is friendly and designed to make students achieve their true potential.
