My interest in music began at a young age. At 16, I enrolled at the Royal College of Music (Junior Department) to study classical piano and saxophone. It was also during this time that I began performing locally as a soloist/ accompanist and began to explore Jazz harmony/ improvisation.
At 18, I began undergraduate studies for a BA degree in Music at Bristol University; specializing in classical piano. Here, I developed my skills in performance/ interpretation as well as composition and sound production (Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Reason, Finale y Sibelius).
In 2007, I moved to Barcelona and was accepted into the Conservatoire of Liceu to study a BMus degree in Jazz and Modern music (specializing in piano). It was here that I further developed his pianistic skills and explored advanced harmony, improvisation and composition. During my time in Spain, I also taught piano and harmony both privately and as a substitute in the Conservatoire Junior Department. I gave concerts all around Spain and performed regularly throughout Barcelona (including the International Jazz Festival 2010).
In the summer of 2012, I returned to England to further develop my musical career as a passionate educator, performer and composer.
