Nick Moodie

I teach for two independent schools and ad-hoc for a local music council, as well as teaching privately both at students homes locally and in my studio. I teach people of all ages and abilities, including the complete beginner. My lessons are based on understanding how to perform and enjoy music, by developing not only the technical skills of the instrument, but also how to communicate and live the emotions as the composer intended. I am registered to the ABRSM grade exam board and encourage playing in ensembles where appropriate.

Based in Mill Hill, 5 minutes from Mill Hill Broadway station. Parking outside. Will travel within the local area: Edgeware, Stanmore, Harrow, Finchley, Hendon.

When I`m not teaching, I play cello for small ensembles, and sing with various ensembles across London.
