Paula Puga Nogueira

I have studied modern dance in Barcelona for three years at the renowned ‘Company&Company’ dance and interpretation centre. In addition, I have attended professional dance classes at the London-based contemporary dance school ‘The Place’ and others schools such as ‘Danceworks’ and ‘Pineapple’ for the past year. I am a versatile dancer trained in various dance forms such as classical ballet, Spanish dance, contact, jazz, hip-hop but most enjoy modern and Spanish dance.
I have explored and enhanced my creative abilities through the teaching of modern, Spanish dance, classical ballet in several schools such as Isabel Porcar in Barcelona and for several companies teaching after-school courses for children in the city of Vigo in Galicia. I have taught to different age groups; from children to older people. My main teaching experience is in Spanish, modern dance and classical ballet but I am sure that with my strong technique knowledge I could as well teach other styles.
I have been a professional dancer in Spain, Portugal and London. For four years, I have been a dancer in the Spanish Dance troupe “Raíces”, touring Galicia and Portugal performing in events such as “Feria de Abril” and various other company events.
I enjoy so much teaching and sharing my passion for dance.
